Dr. Shibu John, Founder, 3D Graphy, along with Ms. Tejal Modi, Head – PR & Communication, and 3D Graphy Consortium member Anatomize 3D, delivered an insightful presentation at the Department of Prosthetics & Orthotics, MGM College & Hospital.
The session highlighted advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics solutions enabled by 3D technology, showcasing how 3D scanning, 3D modelling, and 3D printing are transforming patient-specific device design, improving precision, reducing production time, and enhancing overall patient outcomes. During the session, students and faculty members were also invited to participate in the 6th edition of 3D Graphy Engineering & Medical (3D GEM) 2026, scheduled to be held on 28th & 29th May at the Victor Menezes Convention Centre, IIT Bombay. The event will feature exhibitions, workshops, poster presentations, and knowledge sessions focused on 3D Printing, 3D Visualisation, and AI-enabled Digital Twin technologies.
The knowledge session was facilitated by Dr. Swagathika Mishra, Principal and Professor – Prosthetics & Orthotics, MGM College, who warmly introduced her students and encouraged active participation in the evolving field of digital and additive manufacturing technologies in healthcare. The session served as a valuable platform for academic-industry collaboration, inspiring students to explore innovative applications of 3D technologies in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
